  1. That’s pretty funny….as I read Theresa’s comment on Hassam, I thought to myself, well, I see some Prendergast – and THEN I read your own comment, Erika! Wow, your watercolors are so fresh and full of glowing color – this one too!

  2. I love the colors in your art work. Very pleasing. I had to look up Hassam and Prendergast. Interesting to learn more about art. Also, I am the clone of my daughter, Tiglizzy. We both have the middle name of Elizabeth.

  3. Hi and thank you Tiglizzyclone clone of Tiglizzy! I see you’re from Napa? Ohhh next time you’re in San Francisco, do make it a point to spend at least half a day at the FAMSF (Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco) – both Hassam and Prendergast are well represented there. Gosh it’s been a million years since I was there, I hope I’m right!

  4. Red I definitely got what I wanted from taking Charles Reid’s workshop plus a BONUS, I never realized I’d also a boost for my drawing! Did you read the article I wrote in the Artyfacts? 🙂

  5. Oh and about the artists… I was wondering how a YOUNG artist as yourself can get caught up about other artists. I usually go out of my way to visit fine art museums when I visit a town, state or country so that was very helpful and of course the art history classes for which I only studied for the week of the exams lol

  6. Hi Bill! Wasn’t I lucky?? 🙂 And I do plan to hang on to that luck by putting into practice what I’ve learned, thanks for acknowledging! I hope you have the opportunity to meet Reid some time!

  7. Hey Erika! Glad you got to see the boys all dressed up!! Your paintings are breathtaking as ever. Your Pink Health canvas painting is gorgeous. Love this one too! Miss you! True
